Film: Evaraina Eppudaina Rating: 2.75/5 Banner: AVM Productions Cast: Varun Sandesh, Vimala Raman, Giri Babu, Reshmi, Rahul, Anu Haasan, Ali, Venu Madhav, Rama Prabha, Kota, Surekha Vani, Brahmanandam (guest appearance) etc Music: Mani Sharma Cinematography: Venugopalan Editing: Marthand K Venkatesh Director: Marthand K Shankar Producers: M Saravanan, M S Guhan, Aparna Guhan, Aruna Guhan Release date: 26th June 2009
Love can happen at anytime and any place. How convincingly was this told in this movie, let us see.
Story Venkat (Varun) is a happy go lucky guy who is not responsible about anything but then his life takes a turn when he sees Madhumita (Vimala) and falls in love with her at first sight. From then on, he starts hatching plans to win her heart and finally he does.
However, in this process, he does a small mistake which leads to a great confusion and problem and Madhu leaves him without giving any chance to explain.
Whether he manages to win her heart and what changes he undergoes in this process forms the rest of the story.
Performances Hero: Varun Sandesh: The confidence of bagging two hits with the starting of career is seen in him. He carried the entire movie on his shoulders and shown enough of energy levels. He needs to work on his body quotient. He may look better with some grooming and adding on some muscle. He has improved his dialogue delivery which was thick in his earlier movies.
Heroine: Vimala Raman: She is like a sheer poetry. Her beauty is marvelous and enthralling. She looked seductive and sensuous and she has performed to her role. She suits best beside big heroes than lean guys like Varun Sandesh. An inch loss in her body would certainly pinch the hearts of youngsters and teenagers as well. Her smile is also captivating and personality is enchanting.
Others: Giri Babu was regular, Rama Prabha and Sakuntala were okay, Reshmi looked good, Rahul was alright, Ali was normal, Venu managed few light moments, Anu Haasan did her bit with standard, the others like Surekha Vani, Rahul were brief.
Technical Crew: The dialogues were okay, the script was a bit random but the screenplay was suitable to it. Music was a let down and barring one or two songs, nothing much can be said. Cinematography was average, editing was neat, costumes and art department did their bit to prove their presence.
Highlight Scenes:
The scene at the TV showroom where Varun’s brother gives him money
Varun’s bold approach to shoulder the entire film
Varun’s way of making children sleep
Disappointment The rain song was cut down which proved to be a disappointment for many young audiences
Analysis The film tried to attempt to be a light hearted romantic entertainer but then the comedy track has been quite weak. Even the plot as such is outdated and it was not long before the viewers could predict what was coming next. The entire first half has been devoted to a stale comedy of the grannies at the hospital and it must be said that the flavor was lost due to it. This is a romantic treat but the touch of romance and its feel was not in sufficient doses.
The second half also was a bit mixed with up with inconsequent scenes and forced songs. However, the technical values and the production values of the film are good and this has elevated the film a bit. Due credit goes to the makers for entrusting the hero with the large responsibility of going through the entire movie. There is no special part for the mass audience and the family audience might like it in parts. The pace of the film has been consistent but unwanted songs during the second half hampered the momentum.
Overall, this is a film that is technically neat and good in few points but the agility in keeping the audiences attached to screen is missing especially in second half that marred the final result.

Film: Prayanam Rating: 2.5/5 Banner: Aryaki Arts Cast: Manchu Manoj, Harika, Brahmanandam, Janardhan, Daniel etc Music: Mahesh Shankar Lyrics: Anantha Sriram Cinematography: Sarvesh Murari Director: Chandrasekhar Yeleti Producer: Sita Yeleti Released On: 29 May 2009
Is it possible for someone to fall in love at first sight with a girl and then have just two hours to win her heart? And that too at an airport? It happens only in films. Well, it is possible say the makers of ‘Prayanam’. How convincing has this been, let us see.
Story: Dhruv (Manoj) along with friends Kailash (Janardhan) and Raman is on a holiday and he is going to Singapore from Malaysia.
On the other hand, there is Harika (Harika) who is going to India to meet up with a prospective groom and if things work out, she would get engaged to him. Fate comes in between and Dhruv chances upon Harika.
It is love at first sight for Dhruv and from then on he starts making plans to talk to Harika, make friendship with her and finally expresses his love for her. However, he has only two hours for that since her flight will leave by then. Whether he is successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Performance: Manchu Manoj tried his best to look innocent but his expressions looked artificial at times. He was unable to emote that naïve looks naturally. Harika was balanced and though she is not a very attractive girl, but her eyes are deep and expressive.
Janardhan provided relief with his dialogues and actions and so did Harika’s friend with her sharp tongue. Brahmanandam could not deliver his best this time and had just one or two light moments. There were no others in the cast.
The script was written without any hitches but it lacked the depth to convey the message, the screenplay was apt, background score was alright but the songs failed to impress, cinematography was impressive, editing was crisp, costumes were stylish and trendy.
Analysis: The director has attempted to come up with a different approach to a regular love story but then he gave it the clause of time that’s all. While he was trying to prove that ‘love at first sight’ does exist, he should have worked on generating that spark when the hero sees the heroine for the first time and the scene passes off without any emotion.
Also, the building up of emotions in the girl’s heart was not really convincing and it looked like a rather amateur tale of romance between just growing teenagers. The idea is good and different but the presentation lacked impact and the narrative was not convincing. While credit can be given to Manoj for attempting to come up with a variety treat every time, he must ensure that focus should be there on the content and not just the presentation. The film could have been a lot better if the comedy track was strong and an additional song depicting some tender feelings could have worked.
The film will appeal to a very select audience who believe in a rather mild entertainer without much stress and there is not really one thing that really catches the attention of the viewers except for the offbeat approach to a love story.
Film: Ride Rating: 3/5 Cast: Nani, Aksha, Tanish, Swetha Basu, Sudha, Ahuti Prasad, Kasi Vishwanath, Thulasi, Praveen etc Cinematography: Shyam K Naidu Music: Hema Chandra Story, Screenplay, Direction: Ramesh Varma Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh Released On: 5th June 2009
As the title suggests it’s a movie based on bike ride. Obviously it appeals for teens and let us see how far the movie reached expectations.
Story: Mahesh (Tanish) is the responsible son of a middle class retired father (Kasi Vishwanath). He joins in Kapil Chit Funds as collection agent to add something to his father’s pension. As his employer (Brahmanandam) asks him to possess a bike to work in his company, his mother (Thulasi) gifts him one on loan.
On the other hand Arjun (Nani) is the son of an employee (Ahuthi Prasad) who believes more in savings than fulfilling the bike-desire of his son. Arjun is so passionate about bike that he finds no meaning in life without that. He studies in collage and dreams about possessing a bike every day.
Once, Mahesh loses his bike and finds that with Arjun. The tug starts from then. Has Arjun stolen Mahesh’s bike? Finally how that bike changes the lives of these two youngsters? That forms rest of the story.
Rani (Swetha) is the lady beside Mahesh and Pooja (Aksha) s the girl for Arjun.
Performances: Nani is at his best. He is setting a trade mark for himself with unique voice and modulation of dialogues. But at times, he is brining in monotony of expression carrying his Asta Chemma flavor. He should be conscious at that point. He proves to be a good suit for mass oriented roles.
Tanish is still tender in looks. He needs to add roughness to fit into the action oriented bill. But he is perfect fit for the role he portrayed in this film. He has to work on dialogue modulation.
Aksha is for glamour while Shwetha is with performance plus glamour. Like ‘e…p..u..d..u’, ‘e….k..a..d..a’ modulation in KBL, here she was give the mannerism ‘Ori Nayano..’. But that proved superfluous in some scenes.
Kasi Vishwanth has slimmed down and now looking better than that of in Nachavule. Ahuthi Prasad has little to portray. Comedy would have worked on him to add value for his presence. Others are ok.
Brahmanandam-Praveen combination as bava-bavamaridi brought many laughs in theaters. Praveen seems to be promising artiste for subtle humor and comedy for many film makers these days.
Coming to technical aspects, Hema Chandra’s music is good and RR is also done well. Dialogues and direction is also up to the requirement.
Analysis: As said above, it’s a concept that appeals to the age group of 13-19. The sentiment that surrounds a bike may not appeal for matured audiences. It’s a clear cut action-sentiment drama knitted around a two-wheeler.
First half of the movie is with good pace while second half pervaded with action episodes and chasing sequences. The climax is a bit lengthy but there is little scope to make it short.
‘Dhanchave menaththa koothura…’ remix on Nani and Aksha is canned in a perfect masala way.
Navadeep’s appearance in guest role in climax is a bit interesting. On a whole, the movie has followed the formula of a youthful masala entertainer.
It has been a while since Sumanth has not been to score a hit in his career but this time, he has come up with another rather interesting title. Yet again in a mass entertainer, let us see if Sumanth scored success in this or not.
Story D D (Sumanth) and Chinna (Trinethrudu) are childhood friends and they grow up to be recovery agents and goons.
They have a long ambition of setting up a Pulihora Centre and for this they need money. So they join the mafia don Giri (Tanikella) and he gets them to Das (Jayaprakash Reddy) another evil don. Meanwhile, a sequence of events happens and DD kidnaps Pragati (Krithi), daughter of Minister Prasad Reddy (Ahuti Prasad).
However, Pragathi is happy she got kidnapped but there is a small twist which she and DD realize at a later stage. What is that twist and how DD comes out of it forms the rest of the story? Why Pragathi is happy for kidnap? That forms rest of the story.
Performances Sumanth has come up with a mild performance and though his is a mass role, he still has a classy look which is a contradiction. He lacked in those energies that a mass hero should possess. Somehow he proved once again that his body language suits only for class roles but not mass ones.
Krithi looked gorgeous and at ease in front of the camera, she has traces of Jayaprada in few shots. Trinetrudu provided few lighter moments, Tanikella was effective, Jayaprakash Reddy was regular, Ahuti Prasad had a brief presence. Chandramohan was alright, Babloo was just average, the others did not have much to contribute.
The dialogues were regular, script was written but there was no depth, screenplay was adequate, both background score and two songs were credible and worth listening, cinematography is above average, and the art and costume department did a good job. Keeping the artistic bent and creativity in titles and picturing songs, entire movie proves to be heavy for audiences with weak narration.
Analysis The film takes off on a rather mild note and it must be said that the chemistry was missing on the screen. The technical values are very high but the content and the narration needed lot of energy. Sumanth needs to focus more on doing classy and urban roles since his attempts to get into the mass category are not up to satisfaction.
While the first half goes about in a regular fashion, there are few sequences in the second half that keeps the audience busy but yet again, the feeling was missing on the screen. The film is more for the multiplex audience though it has a mass backdrop and the makers should have worked more on the comedy. The trigger of romance is something that is missing a great deal although Harshavardhan could attempt well. The film might pass off as a technically well made and some fairly decent songs but as such success would be difficult for this.
Film: Current Rating: 2.75/5 Banner: Sri Nag Corporation Cast: Sushanth, Sneha Ullal, Charanraj, Tanikella, Sudha, Geetha, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Shafi, Raghu Babu etc. Music: Devi Sri Prasad Cinematography: Vijay C Kumar Editing: Marthand K Venkatesh Fights: Kanal Kannan Director: Surya Pratap Producers: Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao, Naga Suseela Release date: 19th June 2009
Sushanth has come up with his new venture ‘Current’ and how much voltage he has been able to generate with the audience and also with Sneha Ullal, let us see.
Story Sushanth (Sushanth) is a happy go lucky who believes in the present and does not care about the future. He falls in love at first sight with Sneha (Sneha) and from then on chases her. Sneha falls in love with him but her father (Charanraj) is not too confident about Sushanth given his carefree and irresponsible nature. Sushanth does not listen when Sneha tries to explain the same. So she asks Sushanth to take away the love that he has created in her heart. What happens from there forms the rest of the story. Hoe he takes that away and what happens in climax forms the Current!!!!
Performances Sushanth has improved in his dance and body language but he still needs to work on his expressions. Hardly he is able to give 4-5 expressions and he seems to be over conscious about his mouth. He should come out from that to give the best.
Sneha Ullal gave her glamorous presence and though she has those blank expressions at times, she still looks cute and sensuous.
Tanikella was ok in his role, Charanraj was underutilized, Vennela Kishore managed few laughs, Brahmanandam was abrupt, Reshmi looked a stunner and she has shown good potential, Raghu Babu was impressive, Shafi was alright and the others did not have much to contribute.
The dialogues were weak, the script was alright and the screenplay was acceptable. Background score was okay and two songs are worth taking home. Other tunes of Devi Sri Prasad seem to be taken from his old stock tunes. They are insipid and pale. Cinematography was up to standard and editing was crisp. The production values of the film were of high scale and the costumes and art department did a neat job.
Analysis The film comes across with a concept on love but then it is the narrative that kind of got complicated in conveying it. Apparently, there is a lack of continuity in the scenes and though the second half had few moments of intensity, the feel has been missing.
Comedy could have worked really better had the makers focused a bit. Brahmanandam came with a good entry but his exit was unknown and dull. Raghu Babu and Shafi managed good comedy but that was not worked for long. Lack of strength in dialogues and not very high caliber music from Devi Sri also were some key elements. However, the youth audience will go through a roller coaster ride of emotions and if only the makers looked at working on pulling the chords like ‘Tholi Prema’ ‘Ullasanga Utsahanga’ then it would have been a runaway hit.
First half is dull and second half gripped some emotions but the run couldnt pull crowds on to screen.
The success of this film will run on publicity and fate and nothing else.

Copy Faster - Copy & Paste Faster! | 5.5Mb Are you getting the best performance out of your system? Let CopyFaster bring out the best in your hard drive!CopyFaster is a software utility that enables Windows Explorer to copy big files faster when copying to and from the same hard drive.
Copy Faster is faster because: • Less seeking - Copy Faster’s finer control over the copying process causes less time-consuming movement of the hard disk head. Copy Faster will try to read from the same section of the hard disk (where the head is positioned) multiple times before causing the head to move to another position (which is time consuming). • Uncached file access - Copy Faster bypasses Windows 2000’s file cache which normally speeds up repeated access to the same file, but is less useful for big files. Bypassing the file cache prevents extra wasted memory-to-memory copying from occurring.
